Mission

Sharing work-in-progress should feel like sharing a Google Doc.

AI tools and dashboards spit out HTML. Sending it as a file is a regression. Comma fixes that.

Principles

04 / 04
01

Faithful rendering is the product.

Don't mess with the report. Render it untouched inside a sandboxed iframe. The chrome around it should never compete with what's inside.

02

Commenting is the signature gesture.

Anchored, contextual feedback is the reason this tool exists. The accent color belongs to marks and actions, not decoration.

03

The tool should disappear.

Earned familiarity, not theatrics. Users notice when chrome competes with content. Our chrome is a structural, drafting-table sensibility: honest to what the product actually is.

04

Speed is a feature.

A measuring instrument loads instantly. Latency is a tax on every collaboration. We pay it ourselves so you don't.

What we won’t build

The shape of a tool is also the shape of what it refuses to be.

  • No.01We won't reformat your HTML “for you.”
  • No.02We won't bundle a dashboard builder. Bring your own report.
  • No.03We won't lock comments behind a paywall.

Render a report. Mark it up. Hand out the link.
